One of the key activities of the NiCE (From Niche to Centre) project is a virtual exhibition of good practice, which provides concrete examples of how sustainable lifestyles and the principles of the circular economy can be introduced into city centres. Visitors can explore more than 30 projects from different parts of Europe through videos, photographs and an interactive environment. Divided into four thematic areas – circular lifestyles, methodologies, sustainable business models and urban regeneration – the exhibition shows that sustainability is not just a vision but an achievable reality.
The virtual environment of the exhibition is intuitive and fun, with playful elements such as feeding pigeons or surprises for those who go through the entire exhibition. Users can visit the exhibition via a web browser or mobile app. For each project, information is available on its objectives and the tools that ensure its long-term sustainability. The exhibition is both educational and motivational and is a great source of inspiration for cities, professionals and the general public.
The NiCE project is supported by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE programme with co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund.
